HUT platform should serve as a software support of crisis management of non-profit organizations. Application speeds up the coordination and distribution of forces, resources and activities during a crisis situation.
HUT consists of 3 main parts
1, android application
serves as a tracker, text terminal for communication (chat) and a platform for filling dynamically generated forms, it can send photos and easily redirect coordinates of sent waypoints to navigation apps
2, java socket server
is running on a server, provides secured communication between DB / web backend and the android app
3, web backend
is a two screen application, which should be running paralely on more computers.
first screen contains various tabs
second screen is a map (google) which refreshes its content every 30 seconds, there can be seen the actual position of the terrain worker with running android app, its possible to set there a waypoint for the terrain worker (and send a notification when user arrives to destination), there is also possible to set POI and see filled forms as icons (or in details after opening info box)
The platform provides probably more features than the currently listed.
The most important part about our platform is, that we're working on that in our free time on a purely volunteer base. The software solution is provided for free to Czech Red Cross, but we're open to provide it much further and even making it opensource.
